Virtual Reality FAQ's

What exactly is Virtual Reality?

Virtual reality or near reality generally refers to a certain kind of a reality emulation. Everything that is perceived by our senses forms a part of our reality. When you give your sense organs some made up or false information, the same is carried to your brain and you automatically react to the same. Virtual reality is a three- dimensional or 3D environment that is generated by a computer and, is explored by a person. The person starts feeling like a part of this environment. People can experience virtual reality with the help of specialised electronic equipment like HTC Vive and Ocuclus Rift.

What all should I provide for initiating the VR project?

Access to the structure of a 3D model or a floorplan is needed to successfully create a VR project. Some more information is also required like the exact headset that you would prefer, the exact level of precision that you would like and other related information.

How much does it cost to create a VR project?

It is difficult to assess the total amount of money that is required to make a VR project as there are a lot of varying factors that contribute to the final cost. To give an estimate of virtual reality price, all the details and the 3D model of the structure needs to be known.

What is the duration needed to complete a VR project?

The total time taken to complete a VR project depends on many aspects like the size of structure and the intricacy that each level demands. No exact time can be quoted as each VR project undertaken is different from the others. However, for a project that is similar to a certain project that we have done before, a very rough estimate can be provided. But, for this, additional information is required as well about which you will be intimated upon contact.

In case you already have renders, can those be used to create VR?

Even though such renders can’t be used exactly as they are, certain aspects of them can be incorporated like the 3D models, textures and materials used. This also helps us in understanding your preferences and might even be able to save us some time as we would have an idea about what you like and dislike.

Do you provide VR headsets?

Yes, we can. We can either lend the headsets to you or they can easily be incorporated in your project, as per the project scope.

Would you be able to provide me with computers and any other equipment I need?

Yes. We can give you the computers and all other equipment that you might need either on a loan or it can be included in your project. It depends on how you would like to receive the equipment.
